Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information for our clients

The wellbeing of all our clients (and staff) is of the utmost priority to us.

Our practice remains open as usual at the current time.

We would like to reassure you that we are working hard to keep you safe during your session at our practice and we have implemented additional cleaning and hygiene practices,  as recommended by the Australian Psychological Society and the Dept of Health.

If you don’t feel comfortable attending your session in person, please call us to discuss your eligibility for telehealth video sessions as an alternative for some of our services. We are pleased to be able to offer these for eligible clients. Medicare have this week made special provisions for clients in isolation or who they deem “vulnerable” (aged over 70, have chronic health conditions or meet other criteria) to access Psychological therapy on a bulk billed basis (live video sessions with your therapist over your phone/tablet/PC).

Of course if you are unwell, have travelled overseas, or been in contact with the virus, please do not attend your appointment. In this case, please call us to postpone your session and discuss your needs.

As things are changing rapidly, we are regularly reviewing the Department of Health recommendations and policies advised by the Australian Psychological Society and will update this posted information if/when things change.
