Mandy’s Doctor of Philosophy thesis comprised a number of internationally published research papers in the area of ageing and cognition. Specifically, Mandy’s research focused on the benefits of cognitive rehabilitation and stimulation in older adults with mild cognitive impairment. 160 Older adults were recruited, completed neuropsychological assessments and participated in a 5-week cognitive intervention, developed by Mandy for the population in question. Further detail about Mandy’s research can be found in the American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry (details below).
